{inspiration: lime green}

Hello June...  ...along with the summer let the bright colors shine! I absolutely love lime green! I think it's a very vibrant and happy color...and depending on how you use it, it can be a very nice touch of color in every room.

I know this is a color that not everybody likes. It can be a little too strong for some. For others, a shade that's simply not in their color palate when it comes to decoration.

{pink and green thursday: a little bit of everything}

Let's celebrate another Pink and Green Thursday with Trish. 
Today, I decided to do a little bit of everything...It's incredible how many things we can find in green and pink...These two colors seem to always make the perfect formula.
Pink and Green can be young and playful...

It can also be mature...

or romantic...

But whatever it is, I think we can all agree it's always fabulous!

{cheers...with a pineapple flirtini}

 I came across this drink the other day and thought it would be a good idea to share it with all of you. I am a wine girl but it's good to spice things up, from time to time, with a good cocktail. This Pineapple Flirtini looks so yummy and refreshing!  Here in Miami summer has arrived earlier as usual so I can't wait to drink this "martini with a twist" by the pool. Also, I know what I'm ordering tonight! We are celebrating a friend's birthday at a very popular Irish Pub...and I don't like beer :-) It's Friday! Do we need a better excuse to try it?!? Enjoy it!  

Pineapple FlirtiniIngredients for 1 serving:  1/2 oz. vodka 1/2 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec Liqueur 1 oz. pineapple juice
2 pieces of fresh pineapple 3 oz. champagne Directions:  1. Muddle the pineapple pieces and the Cointreau in the bottom of a mixing glass. 2. Add vodka and juice and stir with ice. 3. Strain into a chilled Martini glass. 4. Top with Champagne. 5. Garnish with a cherry.
