{adding to my wish list}

This is the new item on my already long winter wish list - the 'Michael Kors Hamilton Large Tote, Luggage'

This bag comes in so many different and fabulous colors it's hard to pick one! But there is something about this camel color -their signature luggage color- that's timeless and perfect for any season.

I am definitely getting this one, but first comes the part I always dread...convincing my hubby that I 'need' to have this purse and that I am still going to use all the other ones. Including the one I just got in September...the one I 'needed' for our upcoming trip to Argentina, because none of the other ones I already have were 'the perfect one' :-)

I should give him more credit, he never gives me a hard time!

{a new addiction}

My new addiction is nail polish! Essie to be exact. In the past months I've bough so many different colors. Some of them my hubby argues look exactly the same. We all know that's not true ;-)

Today I was looking at the new fall and winter collection. I absolutely 'need' a few of those colors.

{a very long time...}

It’s been such a long time since I’ve posted anything that it’s kind of embarrassing. Sometimes trying to keep up with life gets a little hard. Balancing work, family, house, etc is hard enough. I took on this project and I think I put a little too much pressure on myself. At some point, writing on a daily basis became homework and I think that’s when I started to not enjoy it as much. Nonetheless, I’ve missed posting so much that I came to the conclusion that I just have to take it easy.

Although I was not posting I never stopped reading all the amazing blogs I follow. A few things have happened in the past couple of months. Some very sad, some very exciting.

When I found out about Lisa from Bumpkin on a Swing I was so sad…Lisa was always such a kind soul. Her sudden passing was a terrible and devastating event. I remember all her passionate postings about the Golf tragedy, her sweet comments and all the support she gave me as a new blogger.  Also, our sweet Trish decided she also needed it a break. I’m sure I am not the only one missing her ‘always so sweet and kind’ postings and comments. Can’t wait for her return to blogland!

On a more positive note, Sugar and Spice Mommy is expecting her third bundle of joy and Ms. Pink Champagne is now a Mrs.…how exciting!

What can I say? I’ve just missed being an active part of this amazing world I discovered not too long ago. I will take it easy this time and enjoy myself and all the amazing friends I found here!

{inspiration: lime green}

Hello June...

...along with the summer let the bright colors shine!

I absolutely love lime green! I think it's a very vibrant and happy color...and depending on how you use it, it can be a very nice touch of color in every room.

I know this is a color that not everybody likes. It can be a little too strong for some. For others, a shade that's simply not in their color palate when it comes to decoration.

What do you think?

Hope your week is off to a great start!

{pink and green thursday: a little bit of everything}

Let's celebrate another Pink and Green Thursday with Trish

Today, I decided to do a little bit of everything...It's incredible how many things we can find in green and pink...These two colors seem to always make the perfect formula.

Pink and Green can be young and playful...

It can also be mature...

or romantic...

But whatever it is, I think we can all agree it's always fabulous!

Have a great Thursday sweet friends!

{what a nice surprise}

I was just reading some new comments on older posts and...What a surprise!!!

Last month I wrote a post telling you all about our trip to Argentina in November. We've been planning this trip and deciding what we are going to be doing down there. And just now, reading the comments, I realized my daddy has given us a little gift...

Alex said...

I want to contribute to make this trip memorable for both of you.

To add a little excitement, I'm adding a night or two in Uruguay... Go to the Conrad Hotel and Resorts in Punta del Este... Cross el Río La Plata from Buenos Aires, take a taxi on the Uruguayan side... and go straight to Punta del Este. A nice room will be waiting for you. Eat good Uruguayan steak, drink the best wine, and have a blast at the casino! I already made the tentative arrangements.

Of course, it's Dad... Who else?

Here's an exploratory link:

Have fun... I love you!

He hadn’t told us anything. Actually, I didn’t even know my dad read my blog. We are so excited!

Here are some pictures of the Conrad Hotel, where we’ll be staying a night or two thanks to my awesome daddy :-)
